Welcome to the colourful world of Music awards. Here you have the opportunity of finding authentic music awards, golden album and other memorabilia of your star.

To give you some idea as to the scope of awards that can be purchased, we would like to give you a brief over view of the various categories.
1.) INHOUSE AWARDS
Most of these items come from fan clubs or where collated by individuals. Generally a combination of golden albums (at times individually gold plated) with maybe an autograph card or the album cover added. Every item is in itself an original, yet set in a luxurious frame they make for a really unique and generally affordable piece of musical history.
The cost of such awards range between € 100,00 and € 800,00. It really depends on the artist
If an autograph is included, the value increases accordingly. For example, an Inhouse award with the signature of
Phil Collins is valued at anywhere between € 500,00 and € 1.300,00.
Were it the Beatles, the value rises to the range of € 1.000,00 to € 2.500,00.

2.) RIAA AWARDS
RIAA's are sought after awards with an accordingly high price tag. The are broken down into the following sections:
White Matte Style:
Awards of this type were only awarded in the period from 1964 to 1974. Auctioned mainly through houses like Christie's and Sotheby's they have achieved known results of more than 20.000 pounds sterling. Laid on a background of white linen the album were award in gold or platinum to various artists.
Floater Style:
This type is relief shaped, i.e. three dimensional, with the both album and certificate on a raised surface. Floaters were awarded from 1974 through the early 80's. Floaters too can be obtained both in gold and platinum versions.
Strip Plate Style:
The gold or platinum album is fixed on top of the certificate plate, which in turn depicts the cover. Awarded from 1974 through the early 80's.

Gold-, Platinum-, Cassette-, CD-Awards:
In style similar to other awards, yet depicting a different storage medium
CD Awards:
Self explanatory - Gold and platinum versions available.
All of the above are examples of awards given to the artist or band. There are innumerable others, given to record labels, Producers, Managers, Radio Stations etc.. Generally these items are readily obtainable and at a reasonable cost.
3.) BPI AWARDS
Their identity is the BPI logo. In the early days of the BPI's the BPI logo was embossed in the top left corner. Thereafter the logo could be found in the center of the awards. Nowadays, the logo is merely printed on it. Sad really.
